Alongside owning and operating her successful business, Journey is also an accomplished actress. Currently, she features as a recurring regular on the new hit BET/Viacom series “Kingdom Business” and has previously held roles in Netflix’s “Colin in Black & White”, “Family Reunion” and in the CBS drama “All Rise.”

Journey’s eye for design transcends her thriving career and into her academics. She attends the HBCU Prairie View A&M University where she is working towards her degree in architecture with concentrations in construction science, real estate development and interior/fashion design.

About Different Streetwear LA

Different Streetwear LA is a socially conscious brand that features high quality hoodies, t-shirts, hats and customized pieces, most crafted using textiles, hemp cotton, 100% cotton, silk, and other pure fabrics.

The mission of the brand is not just to create fashion, but to build a movement.  Each piece is uniquely designed to empower wearers to own their story, celebrate their authenticity, and defy the boxes society conforms. Through bold designs and meaningful messages, the brand encourages everyone to stay true to themselves. The journey to mental wellness starts with self-acceptance.

Mental health is often stigmatized, but what we wear can spark conversations and break barriers. Our brand is committed to normalizing being different, supporting individuality, and creating a community where everyone feels seen, valued, and celebrated.

When you Join The Community and support Different Streetwear LA, 10% of every sale goes directly to funding our programs for counseling and providing resources for the homeless, supporting students struggling with low self esteem and providing a path to hope for those who need it most.

Together, we’re not only breaking down stigmas, but we are building a stronger, more compassionate community. Let’s redefine what it means to be different. Let’s inspire each other to stay true, stand out, and give back.

After all, we are not the same, and that’s what makes us powerful.
